It's Here! Merferd's BIG Coloring/Storybook!
You've Probably Seen Merferd around town.
He can be found hanging from trees, from billboards, and windows of abandoned buildings. He is painted on crumbling, unsightly walls and drawn on the backs of boxes.
What's up with that?
He loves all people and trees. In fact, Merferd loves everyone and everything. Merferd appears around the Metro area urging us all to love and respect each other and our environment.
Merferd and his creator, Phil like to brighten up abandoned buildings, walls, and any other place where the neighborhood has been abandoned or forgotten.

Tree Toons, Merferd's sidekicks are a part of all of us. They are 'morphed' from me, and 40 years of tree care experience. My wife Theresa and I birthed the Living Tree Care Company, a sole proprietorship in 1991 and incorporated as Living Tree Care inc in 2003.
It was a prophetic word that sent me out of seminary and back into tree care. Around the same time Theresa, whom I call 'Tree', heard the name 'Living Tree' in a dream. We perform tree pruning, removals (only if the tree is a hazard), old fashioned tree surgery, consultation, inventory, and training in all aspects of tree care to individuals and municipalities. Phil helped found 'A Green Tree Academy' to inner city youth in conjunction with the City of St Louis and comptroller Darlene Green.
