Ode to Bradley Tutt

We have the winner who FOUND it!
Brad's wife Angel Tutt

The month begins,
A "Where on Earth"
In honor of a friend,
Who with his Angel
Found almost all,
When this first began.

 Sleet or snow, there they would go,
Hunting in the hood.
I could not wait to put one in their
Own neck o' the wood.

The man I dedicate this to,
A fishermen and father...
Of community- and friend...
Of forgotten soldier.
A comforter to a family,
Who lost their 'lil bike rider.

He studied hard for a year
To get in law enforcement.
To be a cop on the north side,
He even had endorsements.
​But when the day came for that test,
Certain questions he was asked.
He answered from his conscience.
He knows no code of silence.
They don't want cops of kindness.

Bradley Tutt could have solved
The things that drops this city dead.
He's for the time still staying the course.
Finding Merferd men instead.

So every morning as you drive,
Saluting from the Soulard tree,
With the beads your wife gave me,
You make the most of Mardi Gras,
This Merf will give you a side five,
As you drive north on fifty five.
